Founder Mary Harris has been producing special events for over two decades.  Her early love of gracious entertaining led her to launch her first business a full-service catering company where she consulted on food styling projects for print and film before launching her event planning company.  

Mary Harris Events is an event production company with a focus on galas and tented weddings in unique locations.   "With each event we embrace a collaborative spirit.  We work with our clients to hone and shape their vision into an elegant and well-planned event focused on hospitality and the guest experience."  Mary's commitment to style, creativity and professionalism have brought her a loyal following over the years.

A life-long interest in manners and their impact on our everyday lives brought the addition of etiquette training to her business in 2004.  Mary teaches business etiquette to colleges, universities, businesses and organizations.  Mary is "committed to making etiquette, sometimes perceived as outdated in today's society, relevant in our everyday culture.
